Plagiarism and AI Use Policy

Analysis. Claves de Pensamiento Contemporáneo is committed to maintaining high standards of academic integrity and originality. All submitted manuscripts must be original and must not contain plagiarized, copied, or improperly attributed material. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all ideas, quotations, data, images, and other material taken from external sources are properly acknowledged and cited.

Submitted manuscripts may be screened using appropriate plagiarism-detection tools. Manuscripts containing substantial plagiarism, duplicate publication, unattributed copying, or significant textual overlap may be rejected. Where plagiarism or other forms of academic misconduct are identified after publication, the journal reserves the right to take appropriate corrective action, including publication of a correction or retraction.

Use of Artificial Intelligence

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools, including generative AI systems, must not replace the author’s intellectual contribution, critical analysis, or responsibility for the submitted work. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and ethical standards of their manuscripts.

Authors should disclose the use of AI tools when such tools have been used substantially in preparing, analysing, translating, or generating manuscript content. AI tools should not be listed as authors or co-authors because they cannot take responsibility for the research or publication.

Authors must carefully verify any AI-assisted content, particularly references, quotations, data, factual claims, and interpretations. Fabricated references, inaccurate information, undisclosed AI-generated content, or misleading use of AI may constitute academic misconduct.

The journal may use appropriate technological tools to assess plagiarism and potential irregularities in submitted manuscripts. The editorial team reserves the right to request clarification from authors where concerns regarding originality, authorship, or the use of AI arise.
