Publication Ethics Policy

Analysis. Claves de Pensamiento Contemporáneo is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. The journal expects authors, editors, reviewers, and all participants in the publication process to act honestly, transparently, and responsibly.

Authors must submit original work and provide accurate information about their research. Plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, data manipulation, and inappropriate citation practices are not acceptable. All sources, ideas, quotations, data, and other contributions from external sources must be properly acknowledged. Authors must also disclose relevant conflicts of interest and funding sources, where applicable.

All listed authors should have made a meaningful contribution to the research and must approve the final version of the manuscript. Research involving human participants should comply with relevant ethical requirements, including informed consent and protection of personal information.

Editors are responsible for evaluating manuscripts fairly and objectively, based on academic quality, originality, relevance, and scholarly contribution. Editorial decisions should not be influenced by an author’s nationality, gender, institutional affiliation, academic status, or other personal characteristics. Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and disclose any potential conflict of interest.

Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and confidential assessments. They should evaluate manuscripts fairly, identify relevant published work where appropriate, and inform the editors of any potential conflict of interest. Reviewers must not use unpublished information obtained through the review process for personal or professional benefit.

The journal does not charge authors submission, review, publication, or Article Processing Charges. Editorial and publication decisions are independent of any financial consideration.

If ethical concerns are identified before or after publication, the journal may investigate the matter and take appropriate action, which may include requesting clarification, issuing a correction, publishing an editorial notice, or retracting an article when necessary. The journal is committed to addressing allegations of misconduct fairly, confidentially, and in accordance with accepted principles of scholarly publishing.
