Peer Review Policy

Analysis. Claves de Pensamiento Contemporáneo follows a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of published research. All submitted manuscripts are first evaluated by the editorial team to determine their relevance to the journal’s scope, originality, academic quality, and compliance with submission requirements.

Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial assessment are normally sent to qualified independent reviewers with appropriate expertise in the subject area. The journal generally follows a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential during the review process. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on originality, relevance, methodological or theoretical rigor, clarity, scholarly contribution, ethical standards, and quality of references.

Reviewers provide recommendations such as accept, accept subject to minor revisions, revise and resubmit, or reject. The final decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief or the editorial team and is based on the reviewers’ assessments and the overall academic quality of the manuscript. In cases of conflicting reviews, an additional reviewer may be invited to provide an independent assessment.

Reviewers are expected to maintain confidentiality, provide objective and constructive comments, and disclose any potential conflict of interest. They must not use unpublished information from a manuscript for personal or professional advantage. Authors are expected to respond appropriately to reviewer comments and submit revisions within the timeframe specified by the editorial office.
